Firstly a very big thank-you to all of you who helped make our “2nd Cock Out Rally”  a  big success again this year.
On Friday we woke to yet another beautiful day,( some of the club had been there since Thursday helping to set up the marquee and sort things out) and as the temperature rose so did the number of you arriving, as it turned hotter we decided to fill a large pool with water and that proved to be very popular with you all.
As everyone started to get into rally mood the disco was set up in the club and the band “ACACIA” arrived in the afternoon to set up, judging by your comments they proved to be very popular, they also brought along some CD’ s and T. shirts etc. they played 2 sets and in between we had the disco, the bar was packed and many thanks also go to Ted, Jan and they staff for all their hard work and keeping the beer flowing. People started to drift out of the club, some went off for food, some to join others for a drink and others just went back to their tents.
On Saturday morning we had organized a ride out and they left at about 10:30 and in the afternoon we had the silly games which took the form of “It’s a Knockout” and jousting but not a horse in sight, must fun and laughter was had and audience participation took the form of lots of water bombs and buckets of water in fact it included a lot of water.
The evening came around and the club started to fill up to listen to the disco and the evening band “BANDYKOOT” another very popular choice by all accounts, in between the sets we had the raffle and prize giving.
Club Turnout was won by “Boring old Fartz” and a very close 2nd was “Potters Trikes”. Furthest traveled male was Duff and Furthest traveled Female was Amanda.
Best Trike won by Boggy and Best Bike to Ben, Rat Bike went to Kev from Coventry Mag. The band went back on when they had finished the disco played until the wee small hours.
Sunday morning came around all to soon and as people drifted off home we took down our own tents and the marquee before going off home ourselves to get some very well deserved sleep.
Hope you all had a good time we certainly did and we look forward to seeing some of you again next year, although we will see some of you before then.
