Roadsters Mcc Annual Bike Show
Held At the Six Bells, Ducks Hill Rd Ruislip Middlesex
On 21st August 2004
There is only one word to describe this bike show and that is 'excellent'.
The reasons why? Well as this was the Roadsters Mcc's first bike show since being reformed, it is a sign of even better things to come, I turned up early (I misjudged the travelling time from Birmingham to Middlesex) and the setting up of the site was well underway. And everybody seemed organised and ‘on a mission'.
Although it is not a large bike show, it had the feel of one; there were plenty of things for the kids to do, play area, bouncy castle, and even a rabbit run for the kids to ogle at. The food was supplied by the pub and was excellent; there were also a couple of stalls.
There was a very good turnout of people and the atmosphere was relaxed, the sun shining down made a great time even better.
Well done to the Roadsters MCC
This is a show well worth visiting, and over time it could turn into one of the biggest and best annual shows around.
NOTE: I left my wallet at the show and didn't realise until I had travelled the 100miles back to Birmingham, a quick call to the pub and it had been found intact with my money still in it, now where else do you find such honesty. So after a 2 nd round trip of 200 miles I have my wallet back with all its contents (so a big thanks to the Roadsters MCC and the staff at the Six Bells) |
