This is the 5th year we have held our new years eve party at The Beech and I think I can honestly say that this was by far the best, not many landlords would give up their lounge for free on new years eve to a bunch of bikers intend on having a good night out, so many thanks to Jim, Jane, Emma and Naomi for keeping up with all the ardent drinkers amongst us.
The theme this year was Masquerade Ball and although there wasn’t a lot big frocks about the ones we did have were very good and top marks to Johnno who I think missed his vocation in life.
Nice also to see some new faces amongst us and to be able to meet people who are usually just a email, Tinkerbelle who was with The Undertaker won best dressed and they along with “Hair of the Dog” and Jake and Lisa from Redditch were just some of our campers.
As midnight approached the room was really rocking with Louie and Jessop doing another excellent job on the disco some of us went outside to mark the new year with a few fireworks, then returned to the party until the wee small hours. Many thanks once again to you all for making a splendid night, hope 2006 is good to you all and look forward to bumping into some of you at rallies parties and shows next year.
