Rossendale bike show 2005, I set out early as i had been warned it could get busy, i got there about 9am and everything was organised, disabled parking was a bit up the hill and after chatting to a very nice marshall he gave up his space on the inside to allow me to park, and then proceeded to help me get sorted, I cant thank him enough.
the town centre is paved with cobbled streets, which proved fun wheeling down the other side, go weeee whilst my voice was warbling from the vibration of the cobbles, I felt 6 years old again, and did get one or two strange looks, anyway enough my childishness, as I said I got there real early, and everything was just setting up, very organised and quickly I might add, once underway the bikes, trikes and people arrived in their masses, and what a variety of machine there were, Classics, Customs, Streetfighters, Sports and Race Reps, tourers, scramblers, and trikes. (see pictures)
this show covers the main town centre and has something for everyone, childrens and adult fairground, mini moto's stalls and displays. I managed to get round the whole site four times, and it totally knackered me out, but would I go again - most definatly Yes
I dont want to go into to much info and spoil what is a very enjoyable family day out, next year go and see for yourself
