Here`s some pics of the bike Purchased last October, more or less as it is, a lot of the mods were done by the guy i purchased it from, nose cone, belly pan, ehausts, renthals, undertray, hugger, but being vertically challenged it was a bit of a struggle reaching the ground, especially after i set the suspension up, it was like a drunken camel in the corners with the factory settings so i checked out www.gsx1400.org , & got the new settings, but these bikes are famous for badly leaking rear shocks, & after i set them they leaked, urepairable, & are about the same price as White Power ones new, so i went for a set of Hagon Nitro Shocks, 30mm shorter than stock, & while i was at it, i thought no point doing the back, & not the front so i called Hagons £299 for the rear, pre set to my weight solo / pillion %, & front progressives  £365 all in, & it has made a big difference. Then the seat had to be cut to get another inch out of it now i can get both feet flat on the ground, apart from that the original seat sits at an angle, so every time you braked kinda hard you slid down the seat, & crushed your nuts on the tank, the guy who cut my seat was a gent in Huddersfield called Tony Archer,  01484536832, £67 all in 3/4 day turnaround, & a superb job. I found the 1400 very abrupt on & off the throttle i suppose the engine size, & torque has a lot to do with that, so i purchased a Power Commander, & K,&N Filter, & off i went to the Carbon Can Co for a Dyno Run, it smoothed it out, & added, around 10 Bhp more, it is a really nice bike to ride now with lots of grunt, & after the last 10 years on Harleys it`s like night, & day, everything is effortless, i just love the lift it has when you hit the gas, after 120mph ( On a private road of course ) it can be a bit of a struggle, but it tends to keep your top end down . It is a very comfortable tourer/cruser, & you can eat a lot of miles in a day, after running Harleys for a few years, it makes touring very easy, my wife would not go anywhere on the back of  my other bikes, as she said they made her teeth rattle, but she will, & has been all over the country on this, & actually likes, & enjoys it.
