'In Your Memory'

when edu bought an average hardtail chop a few years back (the engine, brakes and front wheel of which we used for this bike), he often discussed the changes he´d like to make with a friend of ours named Rafa.

Unfortunately, Rafa was killed on his fatboy trying to outrun the police after panicking one night riding home. A fatal combination of too much alcohol, and a poxy Tupperware helmet resulted in a preventable premature demise.

Rafa was a great person in stature as well as personality, and was a biker to the core, the first president of our bike club `Henares Bikers´, and looked after his people, but sadly never saw the evolution of the bike to its current standard.

In effect, the bike is a two wheeled memory to a lost brother, but is ridden with happiness remembering the good times whilst looking to the future.

The bike has won Best Chopper at the Moto Club De Faro rally in 2007.

Primary - primo brute III

Gearbox - rev tech 5 speed close ratio

Chassis - Santee single downtube softail, modified.

Forks - `mean street´ gothic up-front Springer’s

Wheels - front 21" vortex, 3.25X21 tyre, rear custom chrome 18", tyre 240/40-18.

Tank - WCC villan, modified

Rear mudguard - WCC, weldedtoswingarm, L.E.D. rear ligt and stoplightmoulded into the mudguard edge. VERY bright!

Front mudguard - invisible, honest officer!

Brakes - front P.M. 4 piston callipers x 2, mounts by Edu. rear tolle sprocket brake - crap!

Bars - one off. Edu, n II motos, gui.

Foot controls - RST

Handlebar controls - RST

Seat - nicked from channel `tele 5´ studios, cast aluminium.

Exhausts - santee 50cal´s wrapped and heatshields cut to shape

Headlamp - auxiliary spotlamp + a lot of fibreglass, by Edu.

Indicators - `they were there when i set out officer, honest´

Electrics - N II Motos (HATE bloody wiring), kept to a minimum.
