Ok all I can say about my XVS650A is thank the god's for Highway Hawk!!! Custom chrome and all the other book's full of shiny bits.

On a serious note the bike was bought as a front end smack 2 yrs ago, so all the lights had to be replaced as did the upper fork protectors. As the standard bar's were damaged I replaced them with rather WIDE 1" bars and 9" risers. Not entirely happy with the foot peg's, my wife (Ria) found a pair of rider floor boards on ebay at the right price. (Did she tell you she was addicted ?) As I'm trying to keep the correct riding position for myself (nice n low) the seat was replaced with a Granucci Seat.

A bike like the Dragster deserves to be heard so away went the standard pipes and a nice shiny set of Highway Hawk slash cuts were fitted (care of ebay - yes the wife again!)

If you notice, the picture's of the tyres have the appearance of being white wall's, the white wall's are just a cover that fits on the rim of the wheel, its a nice touch to give the bike that classic look, although not sure where to buy them from?

My other bike is an XS650 US Import. When I bought the bike 2 yrs ago, it reminded me of an old neighbour when I was growing up going off with his mates on their brit bikes, but I suppose that's where the XS got its nickname 'The Japanese Triumph'.

In all honesty, my XS is the best buy I have ever made. In the 2 yrs I've had it, I've only had to replace the spark plug's and general service. I use it everyday up until recently. Its now off the road to do a bit of maintenance on it and some TLC. I need to re-spray the swinging arm, and replace the brakes all round. I've just bought a polishing kit so I intend to put it to good use on the casings and maybe the wheel's as it costs a fortune to have them re-built.

Well that's all I got for now so in the words of the wise one " SHUT UP AND RIDE"

P.S. Check out the rest of the rides,,,,
