I spotted this bike when Paul put it up for swaps, and as soon as I saw it, I thought that i must get some pictures and details, I personally love this bike and getting it here was compulsory, anyway enough of my fetishes.
Although Paul owns the bike he believes it was built by a guy called Andy from Huddersfield.
The Bike is a Yamaha XS650 in a BSA Plunger frame, along with a BSA back wheel and a triumph front wheel, which is mated to the frame via a set of springer forks.
It has plenty of one off parts, such as the hand grips, footrests, battery box
and the exhausts (wow the are gorgeous and suit this bike perfectly).
The speedo is monted to the left of the engine to keep the front nice and tidy, and the lack of front mudguard also keeps the look of this bike 'Just Right'
I would think that there has been the odd 'Burning Incident' associated with those pipes, but i guess thats just part of its personality, the old saying of suffering for you art comes to mind.
And to finsish off in Pauls words "It runs great and is great to ride....cheers paul"
