Hey all. Long time no see, speak , type. Just wonderin' if anyone could help me mate out. She's been lookin' for any info about her Dad (now sadly passed on). Apparently he raced in the TT around the early '90s, also he raced at Donnington. His name's Jay or James Clarke. Any info, pics or race footage would be gratefully received.
'Ere!

I've just been googling a sight for antique guns and came accross this website called www.gunstar.co.uk! I seem to be sitting on a pretty penny! I have two replica blank firing colt peacemakers both in very good nick. One id German made and never been fired, The other is italian and I've shot eleven blanks from it. One sits in genuine american hand tooled buscadero gun rig. The other sits in a genuine mid 20th century mexican loop cross draw holster on a reputedly genuine mid to late 19th century gun belt with enuine .45-40 shell loops. The belt itself shows signs of ancient repair, so I think it could well be the real McCoy! Anyway the buscadero rig's worth about £350+, and the crossdraw rig could be about £275+. Not to mention the dual replica Colt Civilian peacemakers in a cheap leather double gun rig that could be worth about £150, another really cheap looking leather effect pvc rig with a Colt Army Peacemaker (7.5" barrel) worth about £50-75. And lastly my absolute favourite piece, a replica 1851 Navy Colt worth about £150-200.

so if I sold all of these plus the metal detector for £250, and get the full asking price that would total up quite nicely thankyou! So £1300 quid could get me a nice little bike!

Knowing the bloody missus though she'll hijack it to pay for the fencing/shed moving/decorating etc!

Bun

Unfortunately yesterday Bun was taken back into hospital, the infection has returned to his knee. He had more surgery last night to try to flush out some of the infection so unfortunately I think we're back to square one with him. Major bummer. 1 doc says he'll be in hospital for 4-6 weeks but the main man will be in tomorrow and we'll see if he says different. He's in quite a bit of pain but hopefully he'll get sorted with some pain relief and I wonder what cartoon characters he'll be fighting with in this visit.
I'll keep you all updated
Cheers
