Get off your butts – Buttstock 4…..25th to 27th June 2004
A memorable rally indeed, especially as i took my first flying lesson my friend towed me behind her trike, i was in my wheelchair shouting “faster faster” so she obliged. as i was going across the field my front wheels dug into a divot in the field and launched me into the air followed by my wheelchair. As I landed i winded myself and as everyone came running over thinking i had injured myself.
I had just winded myself and was trying to laugh, i sounded like a demented seal.
I was fine but there are many people who will never let me forget it.
